PROJECTS

About Us.jpg

Our projects spread over multiple states in India, and serve over 30,000 children of all ages. All projects provide quality education for children, specifically girls, through four core areas: computer education, vocational training, disability and mental health, and K-12 education. Home of Hope projects bring safety and new opportunities by nurturing children, building their confidence and providing well-tested educational opportunities – especially for those who are deaf, blind, abandoned, orphaned, physically or mentally challenged, or otherwise disadvantaged.

FOUNDED BY RUPALI SAIYA, CRAFTS OF HOPE HAS TAUGHT AND CONTINUES TO TEACH WOMEN IN MIJWAN, INDIA THE VALUABLE SKILL OF CROCHET. BY CROCHETING, THESE WOMEN DEVELOP PRODUCTS THAT CAN BE SHIPPED TO CALIFORNIA AND SOLD TO EARN MONEY FOR THEIR EDUCATION. CRAFTS OF HOPE IS DEDICATED TO HELPING THESE UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN EARN A LIVELIHOOD BY EXPANDING THEIR SKILLSETS AND EMPOWERING THEM TO BE SELF SUSTAINING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

SCHOOL FUND

School Fund.png

THE SCHOOL FUND IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT ALLOWS FOR DESTITUTE CHILDREN TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION VIA DONATIONS MADE CONVENIENTLY FROM THEIR ONLINE WEBSITE. THE ORGANIZATION HAS ALTERED THE PARADIGM BY WHICH EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDING IS GIVEN AND RECEIVED. THEY HAVE ALLOWED THE FUNDER TO ACTUALLY INTERACT WITH THE STUDENT THEY ARE FINANCIALLY SUPPORTING, AND GET THE CHANCE TO UNDERSTAND THE VALUABLE DIFFERENCE THEY HAVE MADE IN THE CHILD’S LIFE. STUDENTS CAN UPDATE THEIR PROFILES WITH PERIODICAL JOURNAL ENTRIES TO DOCUMENT THEIR EXPERIENCES AND THE EFFECTS THAT THE OPPORTUNITY OF FURTHER EDUCATION HAS HAD ON THEM.

I am humbled by the selfless dedication and commitment of our partners, our foot soldiers, who work tirelessly to help these disadvantaged children, who by no fault of their own, have multiple strikes against them. Everyday the people who have dedicated their lives to help provide a future for these children remind me that there is a lot of goodness in the world.
